An Irish Chippendale mahogany open armchair, with fine detail throughout. Carved toprail ends, regular punched line inbetween on the curved toprail and throughout the curved open splat. Fluted uprights, paper-scrolled finials on shaped armrests. Fluted square leg with fan bracket, over with flat stretcher. Circa 1800.
